Mentor Course Information

Course Trainers

Dr Rosy Daniel is Medical Director of Health Creation and an internationally renowned Integrated Medicine Consultant. She was Medical Director of the Bristol Cancer Help Centre until 1999. She is author of five books on the holistic approach to health.

Sue Caden is the Training Director and Mentor Course Tutor. She contributes her communication skills alongside her personal development and training experience gained through working as an Executive Training Consultant for 18 years.

Course Content

The Health Creation Mentor Training takes place over four non-residential weekends, in consecutive months, with case study and course work to complete in between the weekend trainings and a formal assessment at the end of the course.

Weekend 1 - Will involve learning about:
The Health Creation Programme - Understanding, experiencing and applying the Health Creation Programme.

Weekend 2 - Will involve learning about:
The Cancer Lifeline Programme - Learning mentoring skills for the emotional cancer journey and application of the Cancer Lifeline Programme.

Weekend 3 - Will involve learning about:
The Carer's Guide and Mentor Service Framework - Application of the Carer's Guide and understanding the practicalities and professional requirements of being a Health Creation Mentor.

Weekend 4 - Will involve learning about:
Practice and Assessment - Practice of Mentor skills and assessment of readiness to become a Mentor.

Weekend 1 ~ September 20th and 21st
Weekend 2 ~ October 18th and 19th
Weekend 3 - December 13th and 14th
(with a Christmas Party on the Saturday evening,)
Weekend 4 - March 21st - 22nd 2009

Course Cost
£1,500 plus VAT, payable in 2 installments

(50% non-refundable deposit prior to the commencement of the course, and 50% payable before weekend 2)

Candidates will complete an application form, from which they will be assessed for suitability following a face-to-face or telephone interview with Dr Rosy Daniel.
