Integrated Medicine Consultant

Dr Rosy Daniel works as an Integrated Medicine Consultant at Bailbrook House in Bath. She is a powerful advocate of proactive health care and is now focussing her attention on the prevention of cancer and other lifestyle related illnesses in order to protect our own health and the human health heritage for future generations. The hallmark of Dr Daniel’s work is her passion and determination to develop integrated and preventive medicine that is effective and accessible to everyone.

Dr Rosy Daniel:
• Is currently Medical Director of her own organisation, Health Creation, set up in 1999 to develop and provide proactive healthcare products and health coaching services. Through her innovative Health Creation Programme, people become more involved in the creation of their optimum health and happiness, whether they are currently suffering from illness or seeking to prevent it. With her team of Mentors she brings comfort, empowerment and hope to thousands of people with life-threatening illness.

• Is working to create ‘Wealth through Health’ through her inspiring Health Creation at Work consultancy programme which is aimed at enlightened employers who wish to become involved in proactive health care in the work place. Is currently Medical Director of the Integrated Health Trust charity through which she has created Britain’s first Diploma in the Study of Integrated Medicine for doctors and nurses.

• Was formerly Doctor then Medical Director of Bristol Cancer Help Centre (1993 to 1999), and served as Chief Executive Officer between 1985 and 1999.

• Is a published author of the Cancer Lifeline Kit and five other books and her most recent book, The Cancer Directory (published by Harper Thorsons, June 2005) has been recommended by leading UK oncologist Professor Karol Sikora as ‘essential reading for everybody affected by cancer’.

• Is a leading light in both the national and international academic arena, addressing conferences and seminars around the world and is an established contributor to journals and periodicals.

•  Is a regular broadcaster on radio and television and is frequently sought for comment by radio and television journalists.

• Health Creation at Work has now been successfully introduced to many companies and an ever growing list of schools with superb results and the list is growing. This corporate change programme enables organisations to achieve reduction in sickness costs, a happier more energised workforce whilst delivering improvement to the bottom line.  HCAW has been successfully piloted at London’s prestigious Cromwell Hospital where a 30% drop in stress levels and a 40% rise in vitality have made a great difference to staff morale whilst causing a 19% shift of staff out of ‘poor and fair’ health into ‘good and very good’ as measured on the medical SF12 scale, which will generate a likely 1:4 return on investment.

• In 2007 Dr Daniel co-founded the Integrated Health Trust Charity with the aim of setting up a national Integrated Medicine Health Park in the Bath. This will combine a residential IM clinic and the Trust’s Faculty of Integrated Medicine (FIM) to train the next generation of IM doctors and nurses. Longer term the site will also provide Health Creation Recreation facilities for the young of all ages and also holistic assisted living for the elderly. The Trust itself will become a large membership organisation and become the public voice for those who believe in proactive health creation to protect and promote positive health through the Positive Health Alliance which Rosy is currently developing.
